What happens after I sign up?

Our team will review your application to make sure you're a fit for our directory. If your application is approved, we will reach out immediately to let you know and start working on creating your online profile!

What all can I include in my online profile?

On the directory page, we will include your name, headshot, short description of your expertise, and a 'See Profile' button.

Within your 1-page profile, we will include your name, areas of expertise, bio, and links to any additional offerings that you want to promote (books/guides, templates, group programs, etc.). We will include a 'Book Now' button on your profile that links to your preferred scheduling tool.

Will I have to set up my own calendar/links or will you set those up for me?

Once you're accepted into the directory, we will provide you with an onboarding document that outlines how to set up your own calendar links and service offering links. We will recommend a list of tools that are free or nearly free so you can get started for a low (or no) monthly cost. All appointments will be scheduled directly through you; Money Essentials for Women will not track or schedule appointments for you.

How do I make money as a coach?

Once you have your profile set up in the directory, there are endless ways to market yourself and your services! The Money Essentials team spends every week on targeted marketing efforts to drive traffic to the website and directory. Additionally, you are welcome to drive traffic to your profile in any way you see fit (e.g., Your own social media account, podcast interviews, email newsletter, etc.).

When you begin working with clients, you will want to set up your own payment system to charge clients for your services. Money Essentials does not take a cut of your income; it is all yours to keep as an independent contractor. Your onboarding materials will include information on how to set up your own payment processing system.

What's the benefit of the directory vs. creating my own website?

The mission of Money Essentials for Women is to create a one-stop-shop where women can find the coach they need. By bringing together a network of coaches all in one place, we are multiplying our marketing efforts to drive massive traffic to all of our profiles rather than splitting up the traffic to various different sites. Additionally, as a directory member, you don't have to do all of that work on your own - you can be a member of a community that's working together towards the same shared vision.

How long is the commitment to being a directory member?

New directory members must commit to having a live profile on the website for 3 months minimum. This will allow you to test out this opportunity and see if it's a fit for you. After that, you can decide to stay on the directory as long as you like!

Is there a cost to being a directory member?

Yes. New directory members must commit to a 3-month membership at $99 per month ($297 total over 3 months). After 3 months, members who stay in the directory will be charged $99 per month and can cancel anytime with a 30-day notice.
